TMC Member Forum Idol Join Date: Jan 09, 2001 Posts: 124,391	"The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians" turns 40 this month The final season/incarnation of Super Friends, debuted on ABC on September 7, 1985. This season was notable for introducing Cyborg (voiced by Ernie Hudson) as well as featuring the very first on-screen depiction of Batman's origin in the episode "The Fear". I've said before, that I think that this may be the best season of the entire Super Friends series. It toned down the campier/cornier aspects that you could say, plagued the Super Friends franchise in the past. Also, the animation quality improved a great deal.
