Jeremy Renner Teases MCU Return: “I’m Sure We’ll End Up Doing Season 2 of ‘Hawkeye’"

In an interview with Empire magazine, published on Tuesday, Jeremy Renner admitted that he’s “sure we’ll end up doing season two” of "Hawkeye", the Disney+ series that spotlighted his longtime character Clint Barton (aka Hawkeye). His comments about returning to the MCU come after he previously revealed he turned down another season of "Hawkeye" after being offered half of his salary for a second season.

“I’m always happy to be in that world, man. … I love all those guys, I love the character,” he said of portraying Clint/Hawkeye in the superhero film franchise. “I’m sure we’ll end up doing season two, and do other things. And I’m happy to do it.”
