Kingston Vernes (The Survivor) has been cast in the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" reboot, which has a pilot order at Hulu. He will be a guest star in the pilot, with the character envisioned as a major recurring if the project goes to series.

He will play Carson, a Junior Olympian and popular student at New Sunnydale Academy who is the object of Nova’s (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) crush and starts noticing her after a life-changing event

Chase Sui Wonders Cast in "Buffy" Reboot

Chase Sui Wonders has been cast in the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" reboot at Hulu, Deadline has confirmed.

Wonders will play Shirley, in what we hear is a one-off guest starring role in the pilot being directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao. Shirley is believed to be a vampire.

This will mark a reunion for Gellar and Wonders, who shared credits in the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot.

“Sarah Michelle Geller is just such a force to be reckoned with,” Wonders said.

“We became fast friends on I Know What You Did last Summer. She’s an incredible woman and just a cool person, and she asked me if I wanted to do it. Then she told me about Chloe Zhao directing and the Zuckermans showrunning. And then Eric Kissack, who is actually our editor on The Studio, is also editing the Buffy series.”

Merrin Dungey, Audrey Hsieh & Audrey Grace Marshall Join "Buffy" Reboot Hulu Pilot

Merrin Dungey (The Lincoln Lawyer), Audrey Hsieh (Found) and Audrey Grace Marshall (The Flight Attendant) have been cast in the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" reboot, which has a pilot order at Hulu.

They will be guest stars in the pilot, with the characters conceived as recurring if the project goes to series.

Dungey will play Ms. LaDuca, the college counselor at New Sunnydale Academy.

Hsieh and Marshall play high school students Keiko and Jessica, members of the academy’s Evangelical Christian group.
