What hit songs are the most “pop sellout” version of a niche sub genre?
For example, “Unbelievable” by the band EMF is probably the most mainstream pop version of the Madchester movement.
What other hit songs or bands are the “pop sellout” version of their respective genres? Basically, songs or bands that were inherently more accessible and radio friendly. |
