Amanda Bynes Shares She's Lost 28 Pounds After Using Ozempic

Amanda Bynes is celebrating a fitness milestone.

The Easy A actress recently revealed that she’s lost nearly 30 lbs. using Ozempic, sharing how it’s pushing her to continue her health goals.

“I usually don’t like paparazzi pictures bc I was 180lbs but now I’ve lost 28lbs on Ozempic,” she wrote over a paparazzi picture of herself in a Dec. 22 Instagram Stories post. “I’m down to 152lbs. I know I still look big but this photo is really inspiring to me!”

In the off-guard photo, the 39-year-old wore ripped jeans, a Lady Gaga graphic T-shirt, and a petite blue handbag.

Last year, Amanda shared how her mental health struggles led to her weight gain, and expressed her desire to make some lifestyle changes.

"I've gained over 20lbs in the past few months from being depressed," the Nickelodeon alum wrote in a March 2024 Instagram Story. "I'm doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don't feel like working out or eating clean."

At the time, she noted, “I weigh 162lbs right now and want to get back to 110lbs."

Following her admission, the She’s the Man star seemed to be making progress with her wellness goals.

“Down 6lbs,” Amanda wrote on her Nov. 5 Instagram Story with a shocked emoji. “154lbs now!”

Alongside her message was a screenshot of an Apple Fitness summary, which depicted how she’d surpassed her move goal by over 150 calories for that day, as well as that she walked almost 15,000 steps.

But the What a Girl Wants actress hasn’t just been using social media to share how low the number on the scale has gotten.

In fact, Amanda previously shared that she's been trying to get an ex's attention through various platforms.

"Am I the only one who's trying to win back their ex through every Instagram post?" she asked in an April 2024 Instagram Story. "Let me know if I'm the only one."

Though she didn’t specify which ex she was referring to, Amanda was last publicly linked to Paul Michael, who proposed in 2020 before the couple called it quits in 2021. And before the pair called off their engagement, they also ended their joint podcast venture: Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast.

"The 1st episode of my podcast did really well," she wrote on her Instagram Story in December 2023. "I was actually surprised and of course was going to keep going after friends encouraged me to."

But podcasting ended up not being all that, as she added, "I would rather get my manicurist license and have a consistent job.”
