The Secrets of a Restaurant Chef host, co-host of Worst Cooks in America and Iron Chef America regular died today. No cause of death was given. “Anne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend — her smile lit up every room she entered,” her family wrote in a statement. “Anne’s light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal.”

Food Network sets Anna Burrell programming tribute

Food Network will air a tribute to Anne Burrell on June 25 at 10pm ET/PT, showcasing select episodes highlighting her legacy. A new season of "Worst Cooks in America" featuring Burrell's final appearance will also premieres July 28 at 9pm ET/PT and streams next day on HBO Max.

Anne Burrell’s died by suicide, medical examiner finds

The Food Network star, who was found dead in her home on June 17 at age 55, died from "acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine," as determined by the New York City medical examiner's office, reports People. Diphenhydramine and cetirizine are antihistamines, ethanol is a compound found in alcohol and amphetamine is commonly used to treat ADHD.
