Peacock to unveil four shows this month from digital creators

The Warehouse Phase from creator Charlie Curtis-Beard, Older Hotter Wiser from creator Serena Kerrigan, People Like Me from creator Daren Vongirdner and The Kouncil from creator Katie Florence will drop all their episodes on May 19. They were made under the Peacock Emerging Artist Series banner. "All four creators participated in an NBCUniversal accelerator program, and subsequently secured development deals with the company," says The Hollywood Reporter's Rick Porter. "NBCUniversal is hoping that the program will help develop new talent that could go on to develop further programming for the company, but also introduce the audience that these creators have already built on platforms like Instagram and TikTok to the streaming platform, with a longer-form offering." |
