What are some examples of years when a specific genre "peaks"? As in the year when that genre was completely inescapable. Permeating both the charts and the culture. Both old and new acts were raking in hit after hit. But, there are also signs of a decline on the horizon. Signs that would make themselves known by next year and ensure said genre would never reach those heights again.
