Short lived band members who are only known for being in a well-known band for just one hit record before vanishing to irrelevance.

^^^ The only person who comes to my mind is the lady named Kristen Hall who was the third member of the Sugarland act. She left some time before their second album was released, but every song on their first album was written by her.
![]() God bless you and Kristen and Jennifer and Kristian always!!! Holly |

Mark St. John was with KISS from April to November 1984 and recorded only one studio album with them, Animalize. He was in the music video for Heaven's on Fire.
His short stint w/ KISS was due to him developing reactive arthritis, though he would claim years later that it was a cover story. After KISS, St. John went on to form the group White Tiger which did not achieve much commercial success. He then appeared in the music video for David Hasselhoff's Is Everybody Happy (1989). He released The Mark St. John Project EP in 1999 and an instrumental album in 2003. He hardly did any public appearances in his later years and died in 2007 at 51. |
