Today’s guest, Jim J. Bullock, is a highly popular actor who is perhaps best remembered for his portrayal of the goofy but hunky geek “Monroe Ficus” on the hit TV sitcom “Too Close For Comfort”, and as the narcoleptic “Prince Valium” in the classic Mel Brooks movie “Spaceballs”.

But beyond those signature roles, he’s had a long and diverse career. On the big screen, you’ve seen him in many movies including “Switch”, “Get Your Stuff”, “Kissing Jessica Stein”, “10 Attitudes”, “Circuit”, “Role/Play”, and “Ron and Laura Take Back America”, for which he and his fellow cast members won an Idyllwild International Film Festival Award for Best Ensemble Cast.

And on television, besides “Too Close for Comfort”, he’s appeared in dozens of shows including “ALF”, “Seinfeld”, “Roseanne”, “The Bold and the Beautiful”, “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide”, “Glee” and many more great shows. He also co-hosted “The Jim J. and Tammy Faye Show” with Tammy Faye Bakker. And of course, he was very entertaining on game shows like “Battlestars”, “The New Hollywood Squares”, “Match Game”, “Body Language” and “I’ve Got a Secret”.

And on the Broadway stage, our guest starred in “Hairspray” as “Wilbur Turnblad”, a role he also played in the national touring production. AND he also co-starred in the national tour of “Kinky Boots”, playing “George”, the factory manager.

And if ALL THAT weren’t enough, our guest was also the voice of the lead character, “Adam Seymour Duckstein” in the groundbreaking animated series, “Queer Duck”.
