Madderest Tim Minear is a Bloody Moron for Killing Off Bobby

Captain Bobby Nash was the heart and soul of 9-1-1 along with Athena Grant. He was killed off in the two parter that finished last night. In a TVLine article, showrunner Tim Minear said this needed to happen. No it didn't, you bloody moron! I will finish the three episodes left this season but don't know if I will stick around for season 9. The ratings will really plummet now, numerous angry comments on the TVLine article. And I was going to watch the 9-1-1: Nashville spin-off. Not anymore, definitely not adding another Tim Minear show after how horribly he treated the main character here. Might be different if Peter Krause had requested to leave, but he didn't.

9-1-1 boss defends shocking death: "It was time for there to be some real tragic fallout from a story."

So it was time for there to be some real tragic fallout from a story." Minear also said the rest of the cast was "shocked" by the decision, explaining he let them know one by one after he cleared Bobby's death with Krause, the network and studio. "I had to start calling the cast one by one.

Although many are skeptical about Chimney being the new captain of the 118, one episode provides that he has always been the right choice.

9-1-1 : Properly Moving On From Bobby's Death Requires 1 Missing Character's Return In Season 9

Peter Krause's departure from 9-1-1 has already changed the series forever, but one character's return could help compensate for the absence of Bobby.

Evan "Buck" Buckley and Bobby Nash had a close relationship until the captain's untimely death, but there's one way 9-1-1 can keep their bond alive.

Bobby Is Irreplaceable In 9-1-1: 7 Moments Chimney Can't Compete With

Bobby Nash has always been a vital member of station 118, but I'm not convinced 9-1-1 will ever be able to replace such an important character.

Bobby's Death Is Sad, But It Wasn't 9-1-1 Season 8 Most Heartbreaking Episode (& I Know You Missed It)

The death of Bobby Nash has irreversibly changed 9-1-1, and one other season 8 episode is just as heartbreaking (but hiding in plain sight).

9-1-1 Continues To Disrespect Bobby Post-Mortem With Athena's Season 9 Story

9-1-1 has never been regarded as particularly tactful, but the season 9 aftermath of Bobby Nash's tragic death will get worse before it gets better.
