Baywatch star reveals stalking ordeal that cost her $60K

Alexandra Paul, best known for her role as Stephanie Holden on Baywatch, spoke out on her terrifying stalker ordeal to The Ankler.

The actress, 61, revealed that she was stalked for 13 years, and it cost her $60,000 in legal fees.

Alexandra penned to story, detailing how it all started in December 2011 when a woman knocked on her door with her little brother asking to use the restroom.

She let them in her home to use the restroom, and for the next couple of days, the woman kept leaving notes for her - which led to Alexandra's husband to call the number she had left to tell her to 'leave us alone.'

Things escalated, with the woman moving into a house one block away from their home in the Pacific Palisades.

Alexandra began her acting career in 1982 in the movie Paper Dolls.

She starred in the movie Christine, which dropped in 1983, as well as Just the Way You Are in 1984, American Flyers in 1985, 8 Million Ways to Die in 1986 and Dragnet in 1987 and Dragnet in 1987.

The actress landed the role of Stephanie Holden on Baywatch in 1992, going on to play her for five years as part of the main cast.

In the op-ed, Alexandra detailed how the woman - whom she described as of German descent - reached out to her mother in Oregon and sent her a lengthy letter telling her she was her secret lover.

She said she won't name her because that is what a stalker wants.

She also accused Alexandra's husband Ian Murray of cheating and being violent toward her.

Alexandra also said the stalker put flyers out in her neighborhood claiming that Ian was beating her up.

She revealed that the stalker also called police and claimed that Ian was beating her up.

Alexandra said that she continued to harass her and her husband, and with the harassment warrant police arrested her.

She was illegally in the country, and had a record of theft, which led to her being deported back to Germany - which was short lived because she snuck back in the country soon after via Canada.

She continued to launch an attack on Ian and his career, claiming he was a pedophile.

The actress said that after 11 years of dealing with the stalker, they sold their home and 'got special new IDs that protected our identities and rented a house under an LLC.'

While she thought they were safe, it took the stalker six weeks to find them again and re-launch her harassment and stalking against her and her husband.

Nine months later, she was arrested again after the FBI got involved.

Alexandra says she was told the stalker had breast cancer and uterine tumors, with the LA prosecutor's office asking her if they could release her so she could live her final days at home.

After agreeing to it, the woman was released, and she passed at age 41 on July 29, 2024.
