Anika Noni Rose is "deeply disappointed" over Disney+ shelving its Tiana series

Rose, who voiced Princess Tiana in Disney’s 2009 film The Princess and the Frog, reacted to last week's news on Instagram, writing: "I too am deeply disappointed that the continuation of Tiana’s journey in series form has been cut short. The series was a long time coming, and a lot of beautiful work was put into it by all of the creatives involved." |

As a fan of Disney's Princess Tiana I was so looking forward to seeing the Tiana series so I don't know why Disney+ would shelve it? It looks like Disney is planning to make a sequel to The Princess And The Frog and make the supposed Tiana series into the sequel like they did with Moana The Series and decided to create Moana 2 instead of Moana The Series. Tiana should be more popular because of the Tiana's Bayou Adventure ride at Disney Parks
