The way I see it the reason why Tubi is streaming the Super Bowl is so they want to add sports to their lineup and starting with the Super Bowl this will begin a sports section to them because if the Super Bowl is a success Tubi might also stream other sports such as the Daytona 500 and NASCAR racing PGA Golf and Indy Car racing. Because when you get the general picture streaming sports has taken the world by storm and I think if the Super Bowl gets big ratings due to Tubi they might end up getting the next NFL games next season and have serious competition with Amazon Prime who are currently the king of NFL at the moment. Next sporting event that will most likely be streamed on Tubi will be the Daytona 500 in my eyes

Now that they have shown the Super Bowl I seem to think that Tubi will become the king of sports now. And I think Tubi will get competition from Amazon Prime and Netflix when it comes to sports. Based on how successful the Super Bowl was I think Tubi will get the rights to all of the FOX sports and I think the next sporting event Tubi will air for free will be the World Series and based on that Tubi will get Major League Baseball games and get NASCAR races too. Because I think that Tubi will drive ESPN out of business and focus more on adding sporting events for free

Fox owns Tubi. The main purpose behind streaming the Super Bowl on Tubi was so that people who get Fox over the air, or whose cable/satellite/IPTV providers don’t provide 4K, could watch the game in 4K. Otherwise, Fox is only available in 720p.

I can see Fox using Tubi more in the future to simulcast their sporting events in 4K, but I doubt that it will become an exclusive outlet for major, national sportscasts — especially with the existence of FS1, FS2, and Fox’s upcoming paid steaming service.
