Paramount Television Studios to shut down after 11 years as part of cutbacks - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Paramount Television Studios, which launched in 2013, has been home to shows such as Reacher, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Time Bandits, The Spiderwick Chronicles, 13 Reasons Why, Station Eleven and The Alienest. Ongoing shows will move to CBS Studios. "Paramount Television marked the second time Paramount Pictures tried to move into the TV business — separate from the storied shingle that was built on the Desilu production studio founded by Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz," explains Variety's Brian Steinberg. "That studio, which backed such TV treasures as I Love Lucy and Star Trek, eventually became the center of Paramount Studios after an acquisition by Gulf + Western, and would be inherited by CBS after its split from the company formerly known as Viacom Inc. in 2005."

I think Paramount Television Studios will be bought by Amazon and Amazon will gain rights to the Paramount Television Studios shows especially since Reacher is a Amazon Prime Video exclusive show and Paramount Television Studios will be rebranded as Amazon Television Studios. Because as you know Amazon wants to be king of everything to be the number one streaming service in the world and buying Paramount Television Studios would make Amazon get more money indeed. What's also gonna happen to Paramount+ too?

I just don't know why Paramount is just now exiting television by name after the whole ViacomCBS conglomerate was named after the film studio. I remember a Deadline commenter stating upon that name change that Paramount is actually a more well-known brand than CBS, so the name "CBS/Paramount" couldn't even be considered (aside from the name "CBS/Paramount" being just a clone of NBC/Universal). Perfect reason to be disappointed about the Paramount Television name being discontinued again in favor of the CBS Studios brand.

In my opinion its NO LOSS. All they were showing is basically rubbish so....

It is a loss, alright, because the conglomerate as a whole can't even have "CBS" in its name, so why should I care? I hate Paramount Global because of this.

Also a big travesty is when ABC Signature shut down at the beginning of the current broadcast season and was absorbed into 20th Television.
