A new "Star Trek" live-action comedy series is in the works. Tawny Newsome and Justin Simien are behind the project. Newsome is known for her work on "Star Trek: Lower Decks," while Simien is recognized for "Dear White People" and "Haunted Mansion." This series will bring humor to the "Star Trek" universe.
