I screamed at the tv telling Peter to stop. I couldn't believe what he did to that whale. His stupidity is out of this world.

^ I think that's the joke, that Peter is a bumbling idiot and doesn't grasp what he's doing 95% of the time, much like Homer Simpson.

But to get offended over Family Guy in 2024 is like getting offended over South Park's humor. It's been that way since the start and nothing is going to change. Some of that sh*t in the article is indeed disturbing but it wasn't enough to make me quit watching. There's too much live action stuff out there that's far worse than this.
