Alec Baldwin & Family To Star in Reality Series for TLC

Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria and their seven children are to star in a reality series for TLC. The Warner Bros. Discovery-owned cable network are launching "The Baldwins" (w/t) next year.

It comes as the actor is set to stand trial this summer for the October 2021 fatal shooting of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Per the logline, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have been making headlines since they were married nearly 12 years ago, which is somewhat of an understatement.

“We’re inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs, the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy,” Alec Baldwin said in a video on Instagram.

Anyone that calls their daughter a pig in front of the media, and harassed a family who lost their son serving overseas, because
he didn't like who they voted for deserves every bit of crap they get.

Have read and heard nothing but horror stories when this guy is involved.

And Alec Baldwin has the chutzpah to appear on Saturday Night Live and ridicule Robert Kennedy’s speech difficulties. This coming from the same man who negligently shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his own film, Rust.

At least, Matt Lauer, Bill Cosby, Charlie Rose and Les Moonves all had the good sense to disappear completely from the American scene after they were accused of sexual harassment and sexual assault.

I always knew that Alec Baldwin was an arrogant and insufferable jerk.

But, now Alec Baldwin has also demonstrated that he is insensitive guttersnipe.

Kim Basinger was right.

I don’t think it’s right to blame that solely on him as he was told he was given a “cold gun” on set. He’s not a firearms expert and he trusted who he hired and now he has a lawsuit going on for being accused of wrongdoing in the first place.

His personality and flaws have nothing to do with what happened on set that day.

Alec Baldwin also shouted out on a late night tv show, that the late US Representative Henry Hyde of Illinois “should be stoned to death” for participating in the impeachment proceedings against Baldwin’s good buddy, then US President Bill Clinton. (Oh, by the way, the always outspoken Alec Baldwin DID have to publicly apologize after his extremely ill-advised comment about Congressman Hyde was reported to the appropriate federal authorities in Washington DC.)

I think the fact that Halyna Hutchins’s family is suing the oh-so-miserable and oh-so-boorish Alec Baldwin for her wrongful death is an instance of well-deserved karma for this longtime creep. I hope that the Hutchins family takes Baldwin to the financial cleaners.

Baldwin is damned lucky that he wasn’t tried for negligence in the accidental shooting of Ms.
Hutchins. That being said, I “can’t wait” to get a vicarious thrill, following the trials and tribulations of the Baldwin family on some inane reality show.

Ever noticed how bad people seem to easily get in those kind of situations (repeatedly)? Won't be long before there is another grisly incident involving Mister Thinks He Is Above The Law.

Premiering this Sunday, the reality show following Alec and Hilaria Baldwin and their seven children addresses several scandals that have dogged the family, from the Rust shooting to Hilaria's penchant for speaking with a Spanish accent to the claim that she is a fame-thirsty gold digger. The premiere episode is set last summer, as Baldwin prepares to stand trial in the on-set shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. “Everyone who is close to Alec has seen his mental health decline. He was diagnosed with PTSD, and he says, in his darkest moments, if an accident had to have happened this day, why am I still here?” Hilaria says, according to the Los Angeles Times. Alec adds: "Everything was so different before this happened, and our lives are very, very different. Our children have been forced to recognize that. They’ve been forced to deal with that, with us, in their own way."
