I respect him for being a philosophy major. It takes a smart person to study in that field.

![]() I started out majoring in philosophy at my (Catholic) university, but I couldn't keep up with it. I was fine in the introductory courses, but after a while it got very technical and abstract, and I was soon over my head. I eventually switched to religious studies, which was a much better fit. Now, glory be, I have been catching up on philosophy on my own and enjoying it, not having to study for an exam or anything. |
