NBC's 1980 Shōgun miniseries is finally available to stream, on Paramount+

As Vulture pleaded for last month, the original Shōgun miniseries from 1980 is now available to stream. What a bonfire Eric Vilas-Boas' words made. You can watch all 5 episodes (and their cool, vintage, slightly too-long opening credits) on Paramount+.

45 Years Ago, One Of The Best Miniseries Of All Time Set A New Standard For Television

It's been 45 years since television was revolutionized by this unique miniseries, and modern shows still follow this phenomenal standard.
