Episode 500 Premieres Tonight - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Law and Order's milestone 500th episode will air tonight at the usual time of 8:00/7:00. NBC should have advertised this more, the mothership did not get any ads during Tuesday's Weakest Link. I won't be watching live though, it is on against Young Sheldon which I think will be killing off George Sr. tonight.

Law & Order Just Severed Its Connection To The Rest Of The Franchise With 1 Story

All of the Law & Order shows are set in the same universe but one recent story broke the ties between the original series and the current spinoffs.

There's every chance that if Law & Order had continued for another two full seasons after 2010 instead of an abrupt cancellation by NBC, it might have very well reached 500 episodes, even if that 500th episode were a pre-announced series finale (something L&O never got during its original run).
