Those who were alive in the 1990s probably remember the commercials for the Pure Moods compilation albums that blended soundtrack songs with New Age hits.

I do remember that Pure Moods album commercial very well because it was a smart idea to put all the new age hits together on one collection and for fans of new age music the Pure Moods album was an awesome collection because you got to hear artists like Enigma Enya and some TV themes were featured in Pure Moods as well such as the theme from Twin Peaks and the awesome Crockett's Theme from Miami Vice and there's even a dance club remix of The X-Files Theme. Judging by this commercial's success Pure Moods went on to be the bestselling new age hits collection of the 90's and there was also Pure Moods 2 made later on. Pure Moods was also part of the Pure Collection which also has Pure Disco Pure 70's Pure 80's Pure Dance Pure Love Pure Ella "which was an Ella Fitzgerald collection" and Pure Funk and even today the Pure series is still a top seller in music
