In 1989 a music show debuted on Disney Channel called Kids Incorporated which featured a music group hoping to become really famous and make it to the top while performing their own renditions of classic 80's pop songs. Some very famous celebrities who starred in Kids Incorporated were Jennifer Love Hewitt "Known as Love Hewitt" Fergie and singer Martika of Toy Soldiers fame. Although NOT created by Disney Kids Incorporated was produced by David Lynch's company Lynch Entertainment but was one of the best music shows of Disney Channel

I still remember the theme song! Fergie (then Stacy) and Martika were my favorites.

Martika was actually the one who got Fergie into the teen pop group Wild Orchid because the other two members of Wild Orchid Stefanie Ridel and Renee Sandstrom worked with Martika as her dancers when she would go on tour. But Fergie also worked with Martika as a dancer and I had no idea Fergie got her start on Kids Incorporated. Also when Kids Incorporated debuted in 1989 Jennifer Love Hewitt was ten years old and before Kids Incorporated Love "as Jennifer Love Hewitt was known as" was a commercial actress appearing in commercials for Chex cereal but it was Barbie commercials that gave Jennifer Love Hewitt her big acting break that led to Kids Incorporated. K-Tel Records also released a soundtrack to Kids Incorporated that featured many of the songs performed on the show as well
