Don Lemon says Elon Musk canceled his deal with X because Musk wasn't happy with an interview the former CNN host did with him. Lemon said Musk informed him of the decision hours after his interview with the billionaire and owner of the social-media platform on Friday.

According to the lawsuit filed Thursday, Lemon alleges that Musk agreed to pay him $1.5 million a year to produce videos exclusively on X, to give him a share of the advertising revenue from his videos. Musk also agreed to be Lemon's first guest. But Musk canceled the show before its premiere in March after a testy interview with Lemon. Lemon didn't sign a contract, alleging that Musk reassured that there no need to “fill out paperwork." “X executives used Don to prop up their advertising sales pitch, then canceled their partnership and dragged Don’s name through the mud,” Lemon's lawyer said in a statement.

Don Lemon should be used to his name dragged through the mud as he's done it to other people over the years on CNN. Also if there's no written contract that he signed, he has no grounds to sue.
