Default Did you think this year's Super Bowl commercials were better than previous years

When you look at the general picture I think this year's Super Bowl commercials were some of the most expensive commercials to make this year and I think the Super Bowl commercials were focused on making celebrities have their big breaks by having them hawk products while some commercials did not make sense at all like the one for Nerds candy and the Starry Soda commercial which brings me to ask if this year's Super Bowl commercials were better than the Super Bowl commercials of previous years gone by?. I think it was because they use well known celebrities and many people will buy the product that the celebrity is hawking. I couldn't figure out why T-Mobile had two Super Bowl commercials but the one with Jason Momoa was the most popular of the T-Mobile Super Bowl commercials but the T-Mobile audition commercial did not make sense at all. Also why did Pringles choose Chris Pratt to do their Super Bowl commercial for this year? Although I found the commercial neat it seems that Chris Pratt is becoming commercial king and he will star in more Pringles commercials. The one I was dying to see but they never showed it was Jeremy Renner's Pure Silk Almond Milk commercial and when I finally saw it for the second time on Youtube I think Pure Silk Almond Milk decided to have a Super Bowl commercial was because I think they offered Jeremy a huge amount of money to become Pure Silk Almond Milk's spokesman and make his daughter a commercial star. But I cannot figure out how Ben Affleck became a star in Dunkin Donuts commercials for the Super Bowl and this year's commercial was unappealing to me especially with Jack Harlow as the costar and to me Dunkin Donuts probably made the most money with this commercial. A second commercial that was odd was the Lindt Truffles one and I couldn't figure that one out at all and I think that commercial was simply to promote Valentine's Day during the Super Bowl. I think that Super Bowl commercials should really go back to the way they once were and focus on more car and food commercials rather than sitcom and movie trailers because it seems that these Super Bowl commercials focus on movies video games and new sitcoms and drama shows

Disney lost a ton of money in 2023 with how badly their movies failed, and with the company losing subscribers on Disney+. And now, they just lost another $7 million advertising at the Super Bowl with one of the most baffling ads I've seen in a long time, where they got, quite literally, nothing right.

I did see that Disney+ commercial on Youtube and I cannot figure out why Disney+ chose to do that commercial during the Super Bowl and what it seemed to be is a way to get more subscribers to Disney+ and they thought the Super Bowl would be smart to market it. But the commercial I thought was odd was the Lindt Truffle one and I think as I mentioned was just a way for Lindt to promote both the Super Bowl and Valentine's Day and as a fan of Lindt Chocolate Truffles myself they could've come up with a better commercial. When it comes to Super Bowl commercials I think the new commercials have gone downhill and I think it's mostly about getting the top celebrities to hawk products to get people to buy them and if you look at the Super Bowl commercials of the past they used to be for cars food and soda and fast food restaurants such as Jack In The Box and Burger King and even Little Caesars Pizza had Super Bowl commercials in the past but if you look at the Super Bowl commercials of today they have become movie trailers video game commercials and sitcom commercials. I think they could've done more commercials that people would've enjoyed to see. Like Ford should've done a tribute commercial about Toby Keith and Subway should've had a Super Bowl commercial because they promote the NFL a lot as well

I also think Super Bowl 2024 will be remembered as the game that had big commercials because I think the advertisers paid big money for commercials that would attract commercial fans to the game. Because when you get the general picture the commercials are what makes every Super Bowl worthy of watching every year. I also saw that Mountain Dew had a commercial promoting the debut of Baja Blast outside of Taco Bell and I think in commercials Mountain Dew is the biggest paid commercial sponsor of the Super Bowl and it tells me that fans buy Mountain Dew a lot during Super Bowl. But I think who should've had a Super Bowl commercial this year was Pizza Hut and McDonald's because after Kanye West's famous McDonald's commercial last year McDonald's should've had another one

Hi, Hawkee! I thought they were ok. There was a good one with Christopher Walken. I thought they spent too much time showing Taylor Swift. What do you think?

In my eyes why Super Bowl commercials have become so big now is because they probably pick the celebrities that will make the most money and will make the celebrity the spokesman of the product that the commercial is hawking. Take for example I can never figure out why Dunkin Donuts has Ben Affleck do a Super Bowl commercial every year with a different celebrity and for some odd reason these commercials are winners of Super Bowl commercials. Is it because Ben Affleck has signed a huge multi-million dollar deal with Dunkin Donuts to do commercials as their spokesman? A second type of commercial now seen in the Super Bowl is now health commercials and they had a commercial promoting childhood cancer and why health and illness commercials are now in the Super Bowl is beyond me? Why I think Super Bowl commercials have changed with the times is to appeal to this current generation today and we see more Super Bowl commercials appeal to a target audience in the future as the years go by

I liked the singer Seal as a seal, I think it was for Mountain dew ? That was hilarious. And the Sloths , Monday, Monday was funny too. And the adorable little horse / fowl rolling the beer barrel to the bar . So cute !

I think this year the commercials were pretty good.
