The real reason why Michael Jordan stopped being Hanes's spokesman in their commercials was simply because he was given the offer by Ball Park Franks to do their commercials. Because at the time Michael Jordan was commercial king by appearing in commercials for Nike McDonald's and Gatorade and Hanes was his number one commercial deal for him. Because Michael Jordan was such a big star for Hanes they probably gave him a huge raise in salary and continued to work for Hanes as their spokesman but when Ball Park Franks offered him to do their commercials Michael jumped at the chance. I can bet today he will be known as the Ron Popeil of commercials and be like the late Billy Mays as a commercial legend
