Trying to explain the rest of the Cooper family's story on Young Sheldon would have been far easier if it hadn't been for the Nightmare-Virus Pandemic and Strikemageddon shortening Young Sheldon's fourth and seventh seasons (respectively). This article from ScreenRant reminds me of when I got in trouble over wanting to learn Penny's last name so badly before The Big Bang Theory ended (because I am so terrible at fanfiction), and I ended up getting into a fight on another forum because of it. If what ScreenRant has stated is true, then maybe it's best that we don't learn all of the Cooper family's backstory before the end of Young Sheldon.
