I don't see it so much as a raw deal because it was 2 seasons. However, I wish the Ropers would have stayed. Don Knots was perfect for the role and very funny. But after Chrissy left the writing got really dumb. I wonder if the Ropers were still around would have kept some of the show in its original form. When you lose the landlords and a key roommate it changes the dynamic of the show.
