Although more blog style, I give to you a video that's been years in the making thanks to our loyal Patreon backers. This is a timeline of all the game show games that got released on the NES. Starting in 1988 and ending in 1992, we have them all here, waiting for you to enjoy. I show off all the boxes and everything.

When game shows became huge in the 80's and with the popularity of the Nintendo Entertainment System upon it's debut in 1985 people had always dreamed of playing their favorite game shows pretending to be a contestant on their video game consoles. One of the biggest makers of game show adaptions for the NES was Gametek and they were the big company for game show video games at the time and the Gametek versions of the games were well done for the NES. Gametek made game show adaptions of game shows such as Wheel Of Fortune Classic Concentration Card Sharks Jeopardy Win Lose Or Draw and the very first Nickelodeon game show video game in history which was Double Dare for the NES. Soon based on that success Gametek grew to make the same game show games for computers like Commodore 64 and Apple Macintosh and Amiga and they were lots of fun to play. But when the Super Nintendo came out as did the Sega Genesis in the 90's we saw more game show adaptions for the SNES and Sega Genesis with many different editions of Wheel Of Fortune Jeopardy and new game show adaptions of Family Feud and The Price Is Right. After that even though the games were fun and successful Gametek went broke and when Nintendo launched N64 there was a Wheel Of Fortune game for it but as PC games began getting popular there was more versions of game shows being made into PC adaptions like in 1996 Sony introduced a PC version of Wheel Of Fortune that featured actual human contestants that you could choose to play as and you could even name them too and Sony did the same thing with Jeopardy too. But when Nintendo launched their Game Boy Advance system in 2001 we saw few game show games but they launched Family Feud and Deal Or No Deal video games for the system. Will there be more game show adaptions of video games in the future? Only time knows the answer
