The Jedi becoming so staid and interchangeable has a lot to do with the plummeting quality of the media in which they appear. Ahsoka's plodding pace is emblematic of Filoni's era of Star Wars, in which the Jedi do little more than stand around, arms folded, name-dropping characters for diehard fans.
