Young Sheldon is one of my favorite shows and basically the only network series I watch religiously every week. Basically that and The Conners are the only network shows I see.
Saying that, the series will more or less have to end this season. Reasons. 1. Sheldon is 14. Obviously Missy now is over 14. George Senior died when he was 14. I do have a fix for that by just having a voice over with “Old Sheldon” telling his wife he misspoke and really the father died when he was 17, not 14. Won’t happen but an idea. I like the actor who played the father a lot do I can see the series stretching the time line as long as they can but the actor who plays Sheldon is obviously a teenager now. 2. Sheldon goes to graduate school around 14 (I believe). It was said on Big Bang Theory that Sheldon left the family for graduate school leaving George Junior and Missy alone with their mother who was grieving the loss of George Senior and life wasn’t good for them. 3. Just my opinion but the show has sort of ran of ideas and maybe it’s time to just let it go. Any opinions or rumors of this season? |

No guaranteed date yet for Young Sheldon's return to CBS, but its fate is currently being decided, particularly if season 7 will be its last. |
