The Bradys didn't work because IIRC, it came back as a drama or something.

Cop Rock was dead even before it debuted.

Ferris Bueller already had competition. It was Parker Lewis Can't Lose, a complete ripoff of the movie but truer to the spirit of the film than the official TV version.
