Parks and Recreation is a show that I first thought of. I really don't know how a show like that with its decidedly optimistic view on politics would've flown in the Trump era.

Probably not well. I honestly think shows like P&R and Community would struggle in today's social climate. Great shows, by the way, I just don't think they'd be appreciated in the 2020s compared to the 2010s before overt politicization happened.

Third Rock from the Sun! It couldn't have ended at a better time, and I could tell that it was one of the few shows where the writers went into it knowing years in advance how they wanted to end it.

Leave it to Beaver ended at the right time when Wally graduated from high school and Beaver was about to head to Mayfield High School. The show ran its course after six seasons.

Yes! Wally would have been going off to college changing the family dynamics.

One show that should have ended before it did, was All in The Family. The end should have been at the Mike, Gloria and Joey move to California episode. No Stephanie, no Archie Bunkers Place.

I had previously addressed that Leave it to Beaver was in hindsight, a show that may have ended at the right time.
