https://www.engadget.com/peacock-rai...%20per%20month.
Streaming service Peacock is raising the prices of its subscription plans, if you have an inclination to rewatch The Office for the hundredth time. The ad-supported Premium subscription goes up by a buck, to $6 per month, while the ad-free Premium Plus option shoots up two bucks to $12 per month. |

This is starting to get expensive in a hurry. As this business grows we're going to see content exchanges to keep production costs down and subscription fees as low as possible. An example of this is the agreement between Max and Netflix.
Expensive to produce sports programming which became the bane of basic cable's existence is going to have to be walled off from the entertainment streaming packages or we'll have a repeat of the cord-cutting culture, and this time the consumer is in a much better position to fight back. |

I think it's all going to come around full circle eventually...Streaming services "unite" and form package deals, expensive sports inclusion, etc. |

Comcast/Xfinity customers with Gigabit speeds or Diamond/Platinum Xfinity Rewards Members are supposed to get Peacock Premium at no additional cost.
I was able to claim the Diamond reward. I never saw a banner to activate it. It seems like many customers are having problems getting it to work. Their rollout has been a disaster. Has anyone been able to get it activated? https://www.xfinity.com/support/arti...scription-faqs |

Comcast is a disaster, so no surprise there.

Yep, the writing's on the wall already, if you ask me. It might even be worse and more expensive than cable eventually if you can believe. I suppose it'll depend on what people will tolerate.
