Rory Gilmore wants nothing more than to be her mother's daughter.

The only child of a teenage mother, Rory and Lorelai are more like friends. They both love nothing more than watching movies and eating junk food together.

Lorelai always instilled in Rory that she can be anything that she wants to be and Rory constantly works hard to achieve her dream of being a journalist. In a bid to make sure that Rory got into her dream college, Lorelai was able to get her into a prestigious school, though this involved getting a loan from her parents.

Never without a book, Rory spends as much time reading for pleasure as for studying. Be it classic fiction or autobiographies, Rory is happy to read anything and everything she can get her hands on. She even asks her father to purchase a huge dictionary for her as a present.

One thing that Rory struggles with is being perfect all the time. During her college years she finds herself in trouble with her boyfriend Logan. After taking some time away, she eventually gets herself back on track to succeed in her journalist dreams.
