Was it selfish on Jesse's part to turn the basement into a recording studio

This all but forced Joey to move out of his room there and share a hallway with the girls and Danny. Bare in mind that the basement was essentially Joey's own little apartment. It's not too similar to when Jesse and Becky turned the attic into their own little apartment.

But now, Joey no longer had his own private area of the house that was basically his. He now had to sleep in a much smaller bedroom, right in the same hallway as 3 kids, just so Jesse could evidently play his guitar. And before, Joey even had his own bathroom instead of sharing one with the girls. By the looks of it, was Jesse even using the studio THAT much (at least not on screen) to justify the effort of building one in the house and Joey moving into the other room?

And like others have said, can you even imagine how much it would've likely or presumably cost in order for Jesse to turn the basement into a personal recording studio in the very first place? It's already so much to have to provide for essentially, five kids (D.J., Stephanie, Michelle, Nicky, and Alexander). And keep in mind that Danny and Becky were really the only adults in the household who had stable jobs. I mean, let's be realistic here, Jesse and Becky and their kids couldn't possibly live in the same house as Danny and Joey and the girls forever. So, why couldn't Jesse merely rent out a recording studio?

To me, it was selfish because when the attic was first shown, Danny's things were there and they ended up going into a storage locker. Stephanie's honeybee slumber party episode in season four is where that whole matter took place. Once Joey took over Jesse's bedroom after Jesse and Becky got moved into the attic space, Danny's storage locker things could've been brought back and placed in the basement since it was his house anyway.
