I mean, not only was Murphy Brown a highly connected and demanding journalist, but she can’t keep a secretary. She's also a recovering alcoholic, her townhouse is endlessly rehabilitated by by ONE person (Eldin) and she has to content with a beauty queen bimbo as the up-and-comer (Corky). And to top it all off, she has a baby relatively late in her life.
