Now that fans know Javi is alive, fans realize the logic isn't adding up since Jackie died after one night in the cold; however Javi survived weeks on his own. Because of this, fans are wondering if there's more to the story.

Other fans expressed disbelief at the situation. For instance, @ohweisz questioned how Javi survived the same winter that killed Jackie instantly. @lastkissperry also wondered about this, claiming it is hard to believe Javi would survive that long.
