Barbara seemed to have taken her career very seriously. Richard Albain (special effects head) had this to say (from 'Diary of a Genie' by Richard Barnes):

"Michael Ansara was very quiet. He seemed bored with parties but would go as a chaperon. He wasn't the table hopper Barbara was. Barbara Eden was always cordial to me. She's very business-oriented, and does what it takes to benefit her career."
