A lot of movies, were written off by critics and audiences at the time, but were later re-evaluated, or at least found a cult audience.
But what about movies that were reviewed well, but were re-evaluated so significantly that they're almost forgotten? And if so, was it because they always polarizing, with critics seeing something that audiences never did? Or did they succumb to narratives on social media and reevaluations from new audiences who never saw them in theaters? |
