In Friends, there are times when the gang's competitive nature can't help but come out.

Monica loves nothing more than winning, though there are times when she and her brother Ross take it too far. In what starts out as a friendly game of football on Thanksgiving, Monica and Ross end up battling over the ball on the ground as the rest of the gang go back to the apartment to eat the cooked dinner.

In a battle to prove that she and Rachel know Joey and Chandler better than they know them, Monica once again takes a bet that Rachel would never. She risks their apartment on the lightning round, only to come out the loser. Monica even throws a plate across the room during a friendly board game.

Though Monica might be the most competitive, she isn't the only one who lets her desire to win get the best of her. Ross and Rachel get into heated arguments over the poker table, whilst Chandler and Ross get very invested in the game show that Joey has an audition for.
