Instead, we have a very abbreviated one that begins with the Lambert-Foster family watching young Lilly blow out her birthday candles before going straight to the start of the episode.
Like I said, instead of the theme song that we had been hearing for the past five years, the credits are quickly displayed during the opening scene. I know that this was right after Sasha Mitchell (Cody) was dismissed from the cast and they brought in Bronson Pinchot (Jean-Luc) as essentially, his replacement. But still, why wasn't there a traditional opening credits sequence for Season 6? Even the final season on CBS, had a regular opening credits sequence, even if it wasn't as elaborate or entertaining as the one at the theme park/carnival. |

I don't know, but eventually the same thing was done for the Family Matters show only I don't remember a new opening being done for the show during its final season.
God bless you always!!! Holly |

Supposedly, sitcoms dropped theme songs - especially those with lyrics for two reasons:

Could it be the case that they moved this show from ABC to CBS or no?
