Question Movies/TV Shows that You Have a Personal Vendetta Against

http://forums.comicbookresources.com...threadid=21261

To put things in the proper perspective, here we have certain movies and TV shows that you truly believe that are very, very bad. But it isn't bad from the standpoint you being able to actually have and/or poke some fun at it due in large part to how absolutely pathetic the whole product is. A perfect example of this is "Mystery Science Theater 3000" which rode off the gimmick of the audience making pot-shots at the chessiness of the movies in front of them. But then there's other "worst case scenerios" in which what we're seeing is so, and I mean so reprehensible that it actually leaves a long lasting bad after-taste. Take for instance Roger Ebert's book "I Hated, Hated, Hated, This Movie" which is basically a collection of old Ebert movie reviews that he gave the worst rating points possible. Or the website down below which was created in response to the overhyped junk that was "Batman & Robin":

I have a thing against Green Acres. When Nick at Nite replaced The Monkees with this in 1997, I was SO mad I vowed revenge on that show forever.

Cheers. Family Ties I've watched before and I liked it, but ever since Cheers came to N@N, I've always hated it for crushing us FOL fans. I just hope the next show that comes to N@N gets Cheers booted, but that will never happen since N@N is practically in love with their new programming.

Default that Batman link

I went to that Batman website, and I laughed my ass off reading that parody they did. I love the 60's tv show, but I never was too fond of the 90's movies they did. Thanks for posting that link. I got a real kick out of it.

Friends. Can't really explain why, but I just hate it with a passion. Can't watch it. Avoid it on TV and whenever possible, watch something on a competing station to take away a neilsen point.

I also hate any Comedy Central originals, Howard Stern and most talk shows.

As for movies, most of the trashy teen sex comedies, I despise trashy sex comedies.

Goodness, I've even had Jason Biggs, Howard Stern, and Ozzy Ozbounre arrested in my fanfic stories.

I have never liked "Sex And The City."
I just don't think it's any darn good, yet HBO loves it to death.

Movies: "Titanic"

Sitcoms:

Cheers- I seriously can't stand it since it got on Nick-At-Nite. Probably because it screwed up the old schedule I liked... "Brady Bunch" "Gilligan's Island," "Facts Of Life," "Diff'rent Strokes," and finally, "Three's Company.

Family Ties- same as above.

Clueless- this show is sooooo stupid! How can people watch this without getting irratated! (as if!... )

Saved By The Bell: The New Class- how can this crap share the same title with the original one!

Scrubs- what's the big deal?!

Just Deal- this sitcom is totally ridiculous! It tries to be too serious but ends up making an *** out of itself.

The Anna Nicole Show- (no comment )

I don't have a personal vendetta against any movie or TV show. That's harsh language to describe your feelings about a show. Vendetta means retaliation and vindictiveness (www.webster.com)
I dislike certain movies or TV shows, but no, I'm not on a personal vendetta against any of them.

Me too. I seen this show way long ago before it was a big hit on HBO. And I never found it funny. I wish HBO would cancel this show.

I think Family Ties should be replaced with The Cosby Show on your list. Starting this fall, Family Ties will only be on 14 times a week. While Cosby and Cheers have 28 times each.

But "Family Ties" was the first show to start messing up the schedule I liked.
