Thinking about their options, the idea comes and after a fantasy about what wonderful dreams could come true, the duo decide to head west for California, to join Laverne's Pop and stepmother Edna. Lenny and Squiggy decide to give them the ride, while Carmine's affections for Shirley remain strong.
