When you look at the general picture especially the Marvel general picture I think out of all the series that have been on Disney+ that became hits but only given one season such as Wandavision and Falcon And The Winter Soldier Hawkeye fits into this category well. Because when Hawkeye was first announced last year it was destined to be a hit and debuting it on Thanksgiving Eve last year was a smart choice and since the promo commercials for Hawkeye constantly used the song It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year by the late Andy Williams it seemed a smart move to set Hawkeye during the holidays especially Christmas. But thanks to Hawkeye Jeremy Renner is now a household name in TV with his new series. But I think why Disney+ didn't and still hasn't announced a Hawkeye Season 2 is simply because Marvel wanted to make Hawkeye their new top hero and also because they wanted to see if the series would debut with strong ratings and they thought one season was enough and then they started focusing on Moon Knight and She-Hulk Attorney At Law but the main reason why Hawkeye got one season is that Marvel is making spin-off shows of other characters similar to what Wandavision is doing with the Agatha Harkness series and the Vision Quest series debuting in 2024 with Paul Bettany. I wouldn't be surprised if Kate Bishop gets her own series too
