The original plan for Leia Forman in Netflix's That '90s Show would have been terrible and ruined Eric's characterization from That '70s Show. |

Does anyone else think that maybe this new show is a bad idea that wont work? Not trying to be negative and really would like to see this show succeed (love Kirkwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp as Kitty) but it just doesnt sound good.
I went to high school in the 1980's and fondly remember that time for the most part. The 1990's to me was a nothing decade. The most wonderful thing that happened was the Berlin Wall falling (this was in 1989 really) and the USSR breaking up. I did like the so called "Grunge" rock coming out of Seattle. But the music of the 1990's paled by comparison to the 1980's (the 1970's was the best decade for Rock and Movies however). But what else? Not much. Even to me television wasnt very good. Bill "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton? To me that decade was culturally dead as a hammer. At least there was no Amazon or freaking Twitter with that TWEET TWEET nonsense. |
