Trip Tucker's death is a problem Star Trek's current shows can fix by ignoring Enterprise's wildly disliked finale and bringing Trip back. |

I am a big Star Trek fan, at least the original show in the 1960's and the three spinoffs in the 1990's (TNG, DS9 and VOYAGER).
Enterprise was OK, but just OK. In my opinion, they used the same writers as the three other spinoff shows and ran out of ideas, and to me Enterprise was sort of a retread of the other shows. I hated the third season with the "Xindi" which was a whole season arc. What is sort of sad is that the show found its footing in the fourth season, but people quit watching and it was cancelled, only the second Trek show after the Original Series to be cancelled. To me, the series was very up and down. I did like most of the characters but again, it came down to writing and story development. I am of the small minority who actually loved the theme song. Most hated it, I found it very positive and uplifting. |
