The Real Love Boat. CBS has pulled it from their schedule after four episodes, remainder will be burned off on Paramount+. The Amazing Race is moving an hour earlier starting November 2, and drama repeats will air at 10:00.

Sounds like a typical reality tv love drama show but with an added gimmick.

You have to wonder at the end of the day, who exactly was The Real Love Boat for? Was for instance, CBS' Boomer audience going to go for what they likely will think is nothing more than a trashy reality show. And would the Gen X/Millenial/Zoomer viewers who do watch so-called trashy reality TV have any attachment to a network show from 40 years ago?

they should have just brought back the original concept show for a limited series with some big name guest stars from the past and current stars - that's what I was hoping it would be, but turned it off less than halfway through the first episode.

-- or even have the remaining original cast take a cruise and relive some experiences and share some stories, that could be fun.
