Carla actor Rhea Perlman recalls pitching an idea for a Cheers revival, which was turned down by co-creators the Charles brothers & James Burrows.

I agree that a revival could be a mistake. We have in memory 11 fantastic seasons of an unbelievable sitcom and I wouldn't want this to be ruined by an unsuccessful attempt to create it again. Yeah, it could work but what if it doesn't?
