Question Sequel TV series that aired on different networks than the originals
Picking up from my prior thread in regards to spin-offs. I thought about this after the news of the proposed Who's the Boss? sequel series would air on Amazon's Freevee streaming service, whereas the original series aired on ABC.
  • What's Happening Now!! aired in first-run syndication=What's Happening!! aired on ABC
  • The Golden Palace aired on CBS=The Golden Girls aired on NBC
  • The New Leave It to Beaver first aired on Disney Channel and then TBS=Leave It to Beaver first aired on CBS and then ABC
  • Fuller House aired on Netflix=Full House aired on ABC
  • Girl Meets World aired on Disney Channel=Boy Meets World aired on ABC
  • Star Trek: Picard currently airs on Paramount+=Star Trek: The Next Generation aired in first-run syndication
  • The New WKRP in Cincinnati aired in first-run syndication=WKRP in Cincinnati aired on CBS
  • Dallas (2012) aired on TNT=Dallas (1978) aired on CBS
  • The forthcoming That '90s Show will air on Netflix=That '70s Show aired on Fox
